Describe your approach to wedding photography.

One of the things we love about weddings is the fashion that comes along with the day. Our eyes are always on these details. We have a photojournalistic approach overall, but we also love creating timeless images through the fashionable elements that exist at every wedding. These moments are especially captured during pre-preparation and during the bride & groom portraits, as well as throughout the day when these elements present themselves.

Our style during the better part of the day is to remain unnoticed, to capture the details that come naturally through you, your family, and your guests. From the unique, meticulous details, to the candid moments that you’ll cherish forever, we are committed to preserving these momentous details for you and your family to enjoy for generations to come.

How much coverage do I need?

The majority of our clients opt for at least 8 hours of wedding day coverage, which allows an ample amount of time to photograph the most essential details of your wedding day, from pre-ceremony grooming to the official send-off. Although this is the standard, each celebration is unique, so we recommend a meeting to discuss the full details of your day and what length of coverage best suits your occasion.

We are considering hiring your team for our special day, please talk us through your process.

When possible, we highly recommend a face to face meeting as an introduction. For out of town weddings or when face to face is not possible, we prefer to schedule a Skype meeting. During this time we will discuss the details of your day and also go over budget and collection information. We will also have physical materials, including sample albums and prints, for a hands-on preview. Once your day is fully discussed and an agreement is made, a retainer fee of 50% of the total balance is requested to reserve your date. Contracts will then be sent electronically to be signed. One month prior to your wedding date we will ask to start solidifying your wedding day schedule. This is typically done through email, but a meeting can also be setup in the Northern Utah area if preferred.

Your special day arrives, we have an exquisite time.

Four to six weeks after your celebration you will receive a link to an online web gallery containing hundreds of beautifully displayed high-res photos from your wedding day. You are free to download, print, and share these with the world. Professional prints, gallery wrapped canvases, and albums can also be purchased directly through Elm&Co at this time. If your purchased collection includes an album, we will ask you to narrow your images down to your favorite 40-60 images. The number of images is dependent on the purchased album size. We will then work very closely with a highly trained design professional to create a layout that best displays your images and expresses your day just as it happened. Once the initial layout is complete you will receive a draft of your album and be asked for suggestions and potential changes you would like to see. These changes will be made and once you have fully approved the design and layout the printing process begins. The printing and finalizing of the albums takes roughly 2-4 weeks, at which point you will receive the elegantly designed Leather Craftsmen heirloom to display in your home for generations to come.

Do you offer prints and albums?

Yes we do! We can accommodate all of your printing needs, from prints & canvases to custom designed albums. When it comes to your wedding album and prints, perfection is critical. This is why we work exclusively with Leather Craftsmen and White House Custom Color, the top album and printing houses in the country. Your prints will be of the utmost quality and truly unmatched by other printing houses. For albums, we work very closely with a highly trained design professional to create a layout that best displays your images and expresses your day just as it unfolded. Each image is meticulously hand mounted flush to every page and guaranteed to withstand the test of time. Cover options include; genuine leather, Japanese book cloth, and premium fabrics, with an array of colors and textures to select from.

Do you travel for weddings?

Yes. We are located in Park City, Utah, but available worldwide to service your special day. Additional costs include flight and accommodations. Please contact us for custom destination wedding pricing.
